Gives up and coming musicians a chance to fly

This artist's haven is teeming with talented musicians, who all gather together to celebrate and appreciate music over a pint or two. Stop by for an evening of live music, in this local hatchery which serves as a platform for up-and-coming musicians.

The Birds Nest has hosted a number of famous bands, such as Squeeze, Fat White Family, and even Kay Tempest. This place propels musicians' careers to new heights. One band member even said “The Birds Nest is the kind of pub you play on the way up in your career and on the way down… it’s great to be back!” . Visitors can be exposed to all types of genres, one night may be a punk party, the next a disco, or a DJ hosted rave. Not only can you experience new music, but also meet new people and have new experiences. The Birds Nest is a place for people to come together, making it a true home for its community.

You’ll be hard pressed not to see it!

If you see half of a large red bus right next to a pub, you’re in the right place! This unmistakeable landmark never fails to point visitors in the right direction. A half bus coming out of a wall is definitely hard to miss!
