A cosy watering hole run by the same family for over 20 years

If you are on the hunt for a proper traditional boozer in Isle of Dogs, look no further, the Ship will be your haven of peace!
Built in 1835, the pub was named after the Great Eastern steam ship designed and launched next door at Burrells Wharf by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who may have frequented the pub after a hard day of work!
This watering hole has been run by the same family since 2010, and the cosy atmosphere will make you feel like home as soon as you’ll step in. Here, you delight your palate with their delicious homemade sourdough pizzas. The menu changes seasonally, so you’ll have to come back several times to try them all! You can also enjoy great beer or fantastic organic and biodynamic wine. And if you’re looking for some entertainment, the Ship won’t disappoint. With large screens to watch all major sports events, a wide selection of board games available, and a pub quiz every Sunday, boredom is simply not an option!
